Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) was again named one of the top developers in the Philippines at the recent BCI Asia Awards 2017 (BCIAA) for Top 10 Developers. This is the fourth consecutive year that ALI has been recognized by the BCI Media Group.

Held in seven Asian territories—Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam— the Top Ten Awards recognizes developer and architecture firms with the highest value portfolios of projects during the last full calendar year.

The BCIAA was started in 2003, and has since then identified companies that have shaped the built environment in Asia, and have contributed significantly to the community and to the environment.

The BCI Asia Awards 2017 cited ALI as a developer with one of the greatest aggregate values of projects under construction during the last full calendar year, weighted by the extent of its sustainability efforts and confirmed green building ratings.

“We value this recognition from the BCI Asia Awards as we remain focused everyday on creating sustainable estates that help to enrich people’s lives,” said Gilbert Berba, Ayala Land Head of Urban Planning.

ALI’s commitment to building sustainable communities has earned for it various citations through the years.  The Company ensures that developments have minimal impact on the environment, and maximize on sustainability through four focus areas which include: site resilience, pedestrian mobility and transit connectivity, eco-efficiency (energy- water- conservation, waste and materials management, GHG emissions reduction) and local economic development.

The first quarter of 2017 saw ALI post a net income of P5.56 billion, 18% higher than the P4.71 billion it posted in the same period last year.  The Company’s sustained income growth is expected to contribute to the achievement of its P40 billion net income target by 2020.

Ayala Land is the Philippines’ leading developer of sustainable estates, offering a diverse mix of properties such as residential, retail, office, hotels, and leisure developments, that support local economic growth and nation-building.
