Spreading the word on health and wellness
Being fit and active has always been second nature to Clarize Lucindo.
Clarize is a firm believer that sports is vital in the development of an individual and society as a whole, and has worked towards spreading this message throughout her life.
So, it was only natural that she would find her way to Vermosa – Ayala Land Inc.’s first ever mixed-use development that highlights active living. Clarize currently works as the general manager of Sante Fitness Lab, the partnership between Sante International and Ayala Land that developed the estate’s premier fitness and sports performance training facility called the Vermosa Sports Hub.
“I love and I am more inspired to lead our team in bringing the benefits of total wellness and of active living through our top-notch services to fitness enthusiasts and athletes of all levels to the country,” Clarize shared, reflecting on her involvement in the Ayala Land project.
Being part of the team behind the Vermosa Sports Hub opened up more opportunities for Clarize to spread her health and wellness advocacy. Triathlons, aquathlons, obstacles course races, and other sporting activities held in Vermosa brought her and her organization closer to other sport communities in the country.
One event that stood out is when they were tapped as one of the venue partners for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Underwater Hockey event.
“Becoming part of this historical event and providing the services to our national athletes was a very inspiring experience for us,” Clarize recalled.
The pandemic may have put a pause on outdoor events and public gatherings for now, but Clarize and her team are finding ways to adapt and still pursue a healthy lifestyle. She helps her community by providing free online workouts and webinars on fitness and nutrition.
“The uncertainty and the novelty of our current situation has pushed me to become more innovative and flexible. As a leader it has made me resilient and persevering,” Clarize said.
Clarize counts herself lucky to be where she is when the pandemic hit. Being part of the Ayala Land community, Clarize knows that health and safety standards are properly implemented in Vermosa to ensure everyone is protected.
“Ayala Land has been supportive of our initiatives since we started operating and even during these challenging times when we were forced to close. I am assured that our facility is well managed and secure through Ayala Property Management Corp.,” Clarize remarked.
At a time when attention for sporting facilities are mostly taking a backseat in favor of more vital needs, Clarize is positive Vermosa Sports Hub will continue to thrive because of Ayala Land’s support.
