Seda named as “Philippines’ Leading Hotel Group” for the 4th straight year
Seda was recognized as “Philippines’ Leading Hotel Group” at the World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2017 in Shanghai, China. This is the fourth consecutive year that Seda has received the award, highlighting Philippine excellence in the world stage as it celebrated its win alongside major international hotel brands.
Since it opened its first hotel in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in late-2012, Seda has met its targets in all locations, financially surpassing industry averages. Its repeat guest rate is an impressive 42% and high guest satisfaction is reflected in the various citations it has received for service excellence from trusted global travel sites and online booking engines. Aside from BGC, Seda has hotels in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Nuvali, Iloilo, and Vertis North in Quezon City. Each property under the brand fuses contemporary design with the local vibe – hence the name Seda, from the Filipino word for “silk” – to create an inviting place where work and leisure can come together.
Winners of the World Travel Awards are chosen through a voting process by travel professionals and high-end tourism consumers.
Based in the United Kingdom, the award-giving body is recognized globally as the hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark in the industry. The year 2017 is already its 24th year hosting this awards ceremony.
