Seda Atria Opens in Iloilo
The hotel opened on September 15, 2015, in time for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) ministerial conferences and is hosting a contingent from a member country and the national organizing committee.
The first Seda in the Visayas and the 5th under the brand, Seda Atria is tailored for travellers who expect global standards of product and service. The 152-room hotel offers a choice between Deluxe Rooms and the larger Premier Rooms—all equipped with modern conveniences–with public facilities that include Seda’s signature Misto all-day dining restaurant, an e-lounge, gym, and meeting rooms, plus a range of support services. Straight Up roof deck bar and banquet venues will be completed just in time for the holiday season.
Flying in for the event was ALI President and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Dy who was pleased that the opening of Seda signifies another milestone for Ayala Land and Atria Park District, further validating Ayala Land’s commitment to Iloilo. To-date, it has successfully completed several phases in its development, including the Iloilo Ayala Land Technohub, QualiMed, and The Shops at Atria.
Mayor Mabilog, who has shown his valuable support to Seda Atria throughout, reiterated his enthusiasm about the hotel which is a major step towards fulfilling his vision of transforming Iloilo into a major business and tourism hub in the region.
The opening activities began with a mass and hotel blessing, followed by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Also present were ALI Senior Vice President and Group Head of Commercial Malls, Commercial Offices, ALI-Capital and Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts Corp. President Jose Emmanuel Jalandoni; Human Resources and Public Affairs Group Head, Emilio Tumbocon; ALI Vice President and VISMIN Chief Operating Officer Jun Bisnar; ALI Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts Corp. Michael Alexis Legaspi; Seda Hotels Group General Manager Andrea Mastellone; and Seda Atria Hotel Manager Joseph del Rosario.
Seda Atria is 20 minutes from Iloilo’s Cabatuan international airport, 10-minutes to the Iloilo Business Park and Iloilo Convention Center, and 15 minutes to the downtown area.
