Jewels of the South
Transforming new landscapes
Ayala Land understands the incredible potential of creating and harnessing new growth in Visayas and Mindanao.
There is great prosperity and economic momentum driven by prosperous agri-business, regional tourism, and the growth of BPO and IT service industries in this region, particularly in Central and Western Visayas.
Ayala Land has thus created new real estate footprints in the south, with projects such as Atria Park District in Iloilo, Habini Bay in Misamis Oriental. By investing in the Visayas, Ayala Land hopes to draw more business and economic growth to these areas. It’s Ayala Land’s commitment to these communities and to the nation.

What you can expect from this booming region
With more and more companies shifting their attention away from Metro Manila and toward Visayas and Mindanao, the Southern regions have experienced a tremendous peak in growth. Regions in the south have shown the most progress in recent years, with Davao, Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Eastern Visayas leading the charge.
Every year, beaches in Visayas and Mindanao, particularly Boracay, Cebu, Bohol and Siargao, have been crowned as the best beaches in the world by esteemed publications, such as Conde Nast Traveler. These beaches draw in nearly 2 million tourists each year, boosting the region’s economy.
Avenues for modernization
The development and modernization of the Mactan - Cebu International Airport and Davao International Airport are instrumental in the economic growth of the region. With these new airports come increased trade, an influx of tourists, and additional investments, leading to a projected increase in the gross regional domestic.
Melting pot of cultures
Visayas and Mindanao are heavily influenced by Roman Catholicism and Islamic cultures. Visayas is famous for festivals, such as Sinulog, Ati-atihan, and Dinagyang which attract local and foreign tourists alike. Travel further southward to Mindanao and see Islamic culture come to life, from their rich tapestries at home to their traditions in mosques.
