A Holistic Retail Electricity Supplier
DirectPower Services, Inc. (“DPSI”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc., was incorporated and registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 14, 2011. DPSI is an energy company that caters to the unique needs of its customers in a deregulated power industry.
DPSI is a Retail Electricity Supplier (“RES”) licensed by the Energy Regulatory Commission (“ERC”) last March 26, 2012, (with License No. SL-2012-03-004) and renewed on 27 March 2022 (with License No. 3-2022-0088RS). DPSI is among the first RES companies to operate since the start of Retail Competition and Open Access (“RCOA”) in June 2013.
Last 18 June 2021, the Department of Energy (“DOE”) issued the Green Energy Option Program (“GEOP”) Operating Permit to DPSI. And on 19 January 2023, DPSI has been authorized by ERC to act as a Retail Aggregator. These will further boost the transition of DPSI to supply 100% renewable and/or clean energy to its customers.
As of February 2024, DPSI supplies the electricity requirements of 85 RCOA contestable customers and 60 GEOP end-users.
