Ayala Malls Legazpi Now Open

Ayala Malls Legazpi

Ayala Malls formally opened its newest and first shopping center in the Bicol region last April 19.

Ayala Malls Legazpi is situated at the heart of Legazpi City, Albay, known as the “City of Fun and Adventure.” This development is in line with Ayala Land’s overall growth strategy of market and geographic expansion following its earlier provincial malls in Cebu, Angeles, Davao, Subic, Cagayan De Oro, Bacolod, and Iloilo.

The project is a partnership with the LCC Group of Companies (LCC), a pioneer retailer in the Bicol region. The mall sits on a 1.4-hectare lot with more than 29,000 sqm of gross leasable area with LCC as Supermarket and Department Store anchor.

Ayala Malls Legazpi aims to be the region’s mall of choice by providing a unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience to the Bicolanos. The mall will offer over 200 stores showcasing the best of local, homegrown concepts and affordable fashion and foreign labels. Moreover, the mix shall feature “first in Bicol branches” of top dining, service and specialty brands in addition to four digital cinemas, Timezone, and lower ground parking.

The building boasts of a four-storey high atrium that was designed for shoppers to enjoy natural lighting and ventilation, adore Ayala Malls’ signature events, and admire the city’s majestic views of Mayon Volcano.

The mall was officially opened through a symbolic opening of a life-size Pili Nut led by Ayala Land President and CEO, Mr. Bobby O. Dy, Ayala Land Malls Inc. President, Ms. Rowena M. Tomeldan; LCC Chairman and CEO, Mr. Antonio S. Tan, LCC COO, Mr. Romeo S. Tan; Albay Governor Joey Salceda and Legazpi City Mayor Noel E. Rosal. The event was well attended by Ayala Land and LCC executives, LGU officials and merchant partners.

Shoppers were treated to an afternoon live entertainment with ABS-CBN Star Magic’s PBB 737 grand winner, Miho Nishida and finalists Tommy Esguerra, Bailey May and Ylona Garcia.

Locals and tourists certainly take pride to have Ayala Malls Legazpi in Albay. Truly, Magayon!
