Ayala Land honored at the first Miss Earth Foundation ECO Awards
Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) was recognized by Miss Earth Foundation, Inc. for its contribution to the promotion of environmental protection, ecological conservation, and sustainable development.
“We are pleased to inform you that Ayala Land, Inc.’s circular waste management initiatives which were able to recycle into useful eco-products some 28 metric tons of plastic waste in 2020 truly made an impact on our panel of evaluators composed of technical experts, community development organizers, and environmental awareness advocates who reviewed publicly available information about the said initiative.”

A select list of companies and local government units was honored for conservation and sustainability initiatives particularly in reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainable ecotourism. Ayala Land, together with GCash, Cebuana Lhuillier, SM Green Bag and Unilever Philippines, were awarded for their plastic recycling efforts.
ALI was featured in the Miss Philippines Earth pageant on August 8, 2021.
