Avida Land targets P3.6 billion sales for South Luzon projects

Avida Land targets P3.6 billion in sales from residential projects across South Luzon this year. The developer, Ayala Land’s mid-range brand, has built a solid presence in residential house & lot and lot only projects in Laguna, Cavite and Batangas spanning 690 hectares. Avida kicks off its South Luzon projects with the second phase of its latest Batangas development. Avida Settings Lipa, a 21-hectare residential community, recently launched its second phase, with an inventory worth P604 million.

Avida Settings Lipa is the developer’s seventh project in the province, offering house and lots in three different models, and lots only. Land value at launch was at P14,600 per sqm. and has risen to P15,800 per sqm. in just three months. Phase one of the project was 70% sold out on its first month.

Located along JP Laurel Highway, Avida Settings Lipa is close to the city’s malls, hospitals, schools, churches and transport terminal. The development will have a 1.4-hectare central amenity area with preserved trees, children’s and adult swimming pools, basketball court, playground, picnic area and multi-purpose hall.

Previous Avida properties in Batangas continue to thrive with almost 2,000 households settled in San Isidro, Lipa, Sto. Tomas and San Pascual.

“In Batangas, majority of house and lot buyers are growing families who want to upgrade their lifestyle. They usually need bigger living spaces and search for a secure and quiet community for their children,” said Herbert Herrero, Avida AVP for Project & Strategic Management Group.

With Avida Settings Lipa, the company aims to further strengthen its South Luzon residential portfolio. South Luzon contributes up to 70% in Avida’s total house & lot sales or an estimated P3.6 billion. Seeing the high demand for mid-scale housing in these areas, Avida sees further growth in South Luzon.

The company counts some 20 residential projects in Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas. Over 10,700 households now thrive in these communities.
