Ayala Center Redevelopment

Ayala Center relocates transport terminals for better MRT access

Effective November 5, Makati commuters going through the Ayala Center will find it more convenient to connect from their FX and Jeepney rides to the Ayala MRT 3 station.

Formerly centralized at the open transport terminal area beside Landmark, the new FX and Jeepney terminals will be relocated to new areas within walking distance from the Ayala MRT 3 station for convenient transfers to and from the inner portions of the Makati Central Business District through Glorietta and Ayala Center’s other promenades.

The new FX terminal will be located at Level 1 of EDSA CarPark, right behind Hotel Intercontinental and SM Makati.  While the new Jeepney terminal will be located at Level 1 of Park Square 2.

The new locations provide for well-lit, clean and covered pedestrian connection and waiting areas.  This means protection from inclement weather, and staying dry as you stroll between the terminal and your destination.  In addition, the new terminals shall also provide clean restrooms with adequate lighting and ventilation.

Effective November 30, buses will also move from the Ayala Center open transport terminal and return to bus stops along EDSA, Ayala Avenue, and Taft Avenue.  For commuter convenience and safety, the waiting area underneath the Ayala MRT 3 station will also undergo improvement for additional lighting, seating areas, and general repainting.

Directional signs and flyers are now posted throughout the Ayala Center pointing to the new FX and Jeepney terminals and the new bus routes.
