The Filipino Christmas has always been characterized by a four-month long celebration full of frenetic festivities: partying, carolling, bargain-hunting, and the Noche Buena Feast. Without a doubt, we are a people who celebrate Christmas with a passion.

Bonifacio Global City fans the flames of the holiday festivities anew with Sparks of Passion. Different attractions and events have been lined up at Bonifacio Global City from November 10 – December 30. These attractions will not only make the yuletide celebrations memorable, they are also going to make Bonifacio Global City the Christmas destination for all families.

Crowning the celebration is the daily Light Symphony shows, from Nov. 10 to Dec. 30, 2007. From then ‘til midnight, be dazzled by the constellations of colors, forms and hues along two alternating activity areas at Bonifacio High Street, and also at The Fort Retail Triangle. Each 10-minute show will have the lights dancing to well-loved traditional and contemporary carols.

And that’s just the beginning. With the childlike enchanting glow of Tivoli lights, just driving through the place promises to be an exhilarating experience. Towering, too, over all the magic is a 60ft Christmas tree. Located at The Fort , the tree invites families to come together to have their pictures taken, or just to gaze at it and enjoy the spirit it symbolizes.

Jun Bisnar, Head of Commercial Operations of the Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation, shares that it is the relaxing atmosphere of Bonifacio Global City and the warmth it generates that make it the best place to get into the Christmas spirit. “People like to lounge outside here. We’ve also added music and lights to help them feel the joyful mood of the season,” he shares.
