Celadon Park: Manila's Newest Address Lights Up the Historic Skyline
A NEW MANILA
Manila’s Newest Address Lights Up the Historic Skyline
On any given night, the Philippines’ capital glows with the yellow night lights of landmarks that tell of culture and history—among these are the Manila Hotel, the historic grand dame of local hotels, the Manila City Hall, Roxas Boulevard, and of course, the old walled city of Intramuros.
But the city is far from being a mere museum of old buildings; it is where culture and entertainment continue to thrive, and vigorous commerce is steadily on the rise.
It is, after all, home of the international trading ports and, long the seat of culture and power, Manila remains fully connected to the modern business centers of Makati and Ortigas that have sprouted in its periphery.
