A play by Ronan Noone, THE ATHEIST is a story about Augustine Early, a crooked reporter who will do anything to get his next front-page story. When he turns a prominent local politician's predilections into front-page news, the scandal threatens to undo the one person Augustine thought was immune: himself. After a successful off-Broadway run, the play is now on Broadway.

BART GUINGONA SOLO in THE ATHEIST is an opportunity to honor one of this country's leading stage actors and directors as he celebrates a highly successful 25-year carrer in Philippine theater and his 45th birthday!
