Lets Party Event by Pinoy Power

Tayo ang Taumbayan, Tayo ang Pagbabago: Lets Party Event by Pinoy Power will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009. It will start at 3:30 PM with a MARCH with EFREN PEÑAFLORIDA, CNN Hero, with his kariton and 6 other karitons representing: KAPAYAPAAN, KATARUNGAN, KATOTOHANAN, KALAYAAN, KALIKASAN, KARUNUNGAN & KABUHAYAN. From the Ninoy Aquino Monument they will turn left to Ayala Avenue (innermost lane), turn left to Makati Avenue (innermost lane) and take U-turn at StoTomas going toward the stage located at Makati Avenue in front of the GASI Car Park where multi-sectoral pledging and signing at the Democracy Wall and main concert will take place. Expected participants and spectators are more or less 5,000. The event is expected to end not later than 10:00 PM.

As early as 10:00 AM, southbound direction of Makati Avenue from Paseo de Roxas to Ayala Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic to give way to the preparation of the concert site. Opposite direction of Makati Avenue will remain open to traffic. GASI Car Park will be closed effective 10 AM onwards and the vehicle flow will be reversed - the exit will be through the “entry gate” from MSE.

Traffic Re-routing: Southbound vehicles along Makati Avenue from Buendia Avenue going toward Ayala Center, Pasay Road or EDSA shall turn right to Paseo de Roxas and left to Ayala Avenue. Likewise, vehicles along Paseo de Roxas from Buendia Avenue shall proceed and turn left to Ayala Avenue.
